Publication Ethics

1. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to Jurnal Integrasi Ilmu are required to:

  • Ensure that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Avoid all forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplication, and fabrication of data.

  • Properly cite all sources used in the manuscript following the journal's referencing guidelines.

  • Be responsible for the accuracy of data, analyses, and interpretations presented.

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest or sources of research funding (if applicable).

  • Refrain from submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously (no double submission).


2. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the journal:

  • Conduct an initial assessment of submitted manuscripts and determine whether they are suitable for peer review.

  • Ensure that the peer-review process is fair, unbiased, and transparent.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and related information.

  • Make publication decisions based solely on the originality, quality, and contribution of the research.

  • Take action in cases of ethical misconduct, including plagiarism or data manipulation.


3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are responsible for evaluating manuscripts objectively and fairly:

  • Treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and do not share them with third parties.

  • Provide constructive, honest, and unbiased feedback to improve the manuscript's quality.

  • Refuse to review any manuscript if a conflict of interest exists.

  • Submit timely and professional recommendations regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.
